Thomas Bryan, MD, FAAOS

Thomas Bryan, MD, FAAOS

Board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon
Specialty: Total Joint Replacement

A skilled orthopedic surgeon, scholar and researcher, Dr. Bryan is a Chicago native. He earned his bachelor of science in biology with high distinction in 1977 from the University of Michigan. He pursued his love of medicine at the Chicago Medical School, where he earned his medical degree in 1981 and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

After med school, Dr. Bryan came to Southern California to complete his internship in general surgery and his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the USC School of Medicine. Following his residency, Dr. Bryan remained in southern California and began his private orthopedic surgery practice in West Covina in 1986.

Dr. Bryan is an assistant clinical professor of orthopedics at USC School of Medicine. He has authored or co-authored several scholarly articles on orthopedic practices and presented at national medical conferences. He has served as Chief of Staff at Queen of the Valley Medical Center and is a board member and treasurer of Citrus Valley Medical Center. Also, Dr. Bryan is the team physician for Mount San Antonio College.

Dr. Bryan's leisure activities include golf, snow skiing, and motorcycle riding.

Dr. Lugo was raised, educated, and has spent his entire professional career in California. He earned a bachelor of arts in chemistry from USC in 1976, and then pursued his love of medicine, earning his medical degree from the University of California at Irvine in 1981.

Dr. Lugo completed his internship in general surgery and his residency in orthopaedic surgery at King Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles, followed by a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Wagner Institute in Whittier with the noted surgeon Dr. F. William Wagner.

Dr. Lugo is on the active staff at Queen of the Valley Medical Center and Inter-Community Medical Center, and he performs outpatient surgery at San Gabriel Valley Surgical Center. He is also in Evaluation and Rating of Permanent Disabilities for Workers' Compensation.

When he's not in the office, Dr. Lugo likes to spend time with his family.

Vic A. Osborne, MD, FAAOS

Specialty: Spine Surgery

Dr. Osborne is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in spine surgery. He grew up in southern California and earned a bachelor of arts in chemistry and biology, graduating magna cum laude in 1983 from Pomona College in Claremont.

Dr. Osborne went to Texas to pursue medicine, earning his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in 1987, again graduating with high honors. He completed both his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at USC Los Angeles County Medical Center followed by a fellowship in spine surgery at the University of Maryland in 1993. Dr. Osborne then moved back to southern California to begin his private practice at Orthopaedic Medical Group.

Dr. Osborne has taught as an assistant clinical professor at the USC Department of Orthopedic Surgery and has coauthored scientific papers on spinal surgery.  Respected by his peers, he has been elected and served as Chief of Surgery at Citrus Valley Health Partners (Queen of the Valley and Inter-Community Hospitals) and has been appointed to various hospital committees. He has served for many years as the team physician for Bishop Amat High School.

In his spare time, Dr. Osborne enjoys exercising, hiking, reading and attending concerts.

Kee Wong, MD, FAAOS

Specialty: Hand & Shoulder Surgery

Dr. Wong is a native Californian.  He earned a B.S. degree from Loma Linda University College of Arts and Science and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine.

His served his internship at the White memorial center in Los Angeles and his Orthopedic Residency at Akron General Medical Center.  Dr. Wong completed a hand fellowship at Loma Linda University and the Orthopedic Hospital in Los Angeles.

D. Wong is an active staff member at Queen of the Valley and Foothill Presbyterian hospitals.

In his spare time Dr. Wong enjoys going to consumer electronic and car shows.

Patrick Duke, PA-C

Orthopedic Physician Assistant

Patrick Duke has been working in orthopedics for more than 25 years and has been with Orthopaedic Medical Group since 1981. A native Californian born in Lynwood, Patrick graduated from Gladstone High School in Covina in 1970 and from the Physician's Assistant School at the University of Southern California in 1981. He also spent four years in the U.S. Navy.

Every surgical practice needs professional support people to enable it to run smoothly and effectively. From pre-op to post-op, there isn't a hip, knee, shoulder, or spine condition that Patrick hasn't seen and helped treat. He also provides orthopedic evaluation for Mt. San Antonio College athletes and other local high schools.

In his leisure time he enjoys water sports and camping.

Bryan Block, PA-C

Orthopedic Physician Assistant

Bryan Block is a West Covina native and a graduate of Western Christian High School, where he was a member of the varsity football team. He went on to study at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where he earned his bachelor of science in physical education and exercise science.

After working for several years in the field of physical therapy, Bryan enrolled in the University of Southern California, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in physician assistant practice in 2001. He then went on to attain his master’s degree in physician assistant studies, specializing in orthopedics, from the University of Nebraska in 2005.

Bryan is a member of both the California Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

An avid sportsman, Bryan favors downhill skiing and water sports in his spare time.
